De Beers Research Laboratory – Transformation Project
The objective was to be able to galvanise a wide array of very bright and talented scientists, engineers and project leaders to be able to create a common culture where they were able to synthesise their thinking and IP in order to create a winning value proposition and produce market leading ultra hard materials, such as diamonds and synthetic diamonds. The objective was a complete shift in terms of organisational culture and aligning very talented and diverse people from around the globe around a common goal. Designed and delivered a series of workshops and coaching sessions focused on building strategic leadership capabilities, fostering collaboration, and driving change. Achieved significant improvements in leadership alignment, team collaboration, and project execution, contributing to enhanced business performance.
Nokia Middle East – Team Integration and Collaboration
The objective was to enhance team collaboration and integration across a geographically dispersed team, fostering a culture of trust and high performance. Implemented a customised team-building programme that included workshops, experiential learning activities, and follow-up coaching. Philips RSA – Organisational Rebuilding and Leadership Coaching
The objective was to rebuild the organisations leadership team and culture following a challenging period of change and restructuring. Our approach provided executive coaching, team alignment sessions, and strategic workshops to support the new management team in rebuilding trust, cohesion, and strategic focus. We successfully guided the organisation through a period of transformation, resulting in improved leadership effectiveness and organisational stability.
Stanbic Bank – Leadership Transformation and Growth
The objective was to develop a leadership culture that supports the bank’s strategic transformation and growth initiatives, focusing on customer-centricity and operational excellence. Delivered a multi-phase leadership development programme, including leadership assessments, workshops on strategic thinking and innovation, and follow-up coaching sessions. The objective was to equip leaders with the skills and mindset needed to drive digital transformation and foster a culture of innovation within the bank. We implemented a blended learning programme that combined digital learning modules, in-person workshops, and innovation labs. The programme focused on developing digital acumen, strategic foresight, and collaborative leadership skills. Leaders were better equipped to lead digital initiatives, foster cross-functional collaboration, drive innovation, resulting in the successful execution of several digital transformation projects.
Hatch – Project Alignment and Leadership Development
The objective was to align project leadership teams around strategic priorities, improve team cohesion, and enhance project execution capabilities. Conducted a comprehensive leadership alignment programme, including leadership assessments, customised workshops, and follow-up coaching. The programme emphasised building trust, enhancing communication, and fostering a collaborative project culture. The outcome was significant improvements in project leadership effectiveness, reduced project delivery times, and increased client satisfaction. The programme contributed to the successful delivery of complex engineering projects and strengthened the leadership pipeline.
In their role as mega-project facilitators, Elephants collaborated closely with the Hatch, Mott MacDonald, and Goba (HMG) joint venture, the appointed EPCM (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction Management) managing contractor, to deliver Transnet’s ambitious rail-and-port program from 2006 to 2013. Elephants played a pivotal role in nurturing and coaching teams across over 80 complex projects. By ensuring a robust program management approach, they cultivated project efficiency and alignment, helping all stakeholders operate seamlessly to achieve success.
